Mindfulness Meditation vs. Neural Retraining

I get this question pretty regularly....what is the difference between neural retraining and other styles of relaxation techniques, especially mindfulness style meditation.  There is a huge difference in my experience.  I often get clients who have been diligently meditating, doing yoga, and other relaxation techniques for ages, but they're still dysregulated and sick.    That was me, once upon a time!  In this video, I talk about why that is.  I also talk about how to rewire your brain faster, more easily, and have more fun doing it so that your health can blossom.  The moral of this story is….if you can’t even go a few days to a week sans meditation (or other relaxation technique) without feeling dysregulated, you haven’t really rewired your brain to feel safe with the context of your life.
